Our Mission
AIDS Services Foundation Orange County's mission is to prevent the spread of HIV and improve the lives of men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Orange County.
Our Story
A small group of volunteers founded AIDS Services Foundation, Orange County (ASF) in late summer 1985, because people were dying, desperately needed help, and had nowhere to turn. ASF is now the largest and most comprehensive not-for-profit AIDS-service organization in Orange County, with a staff of over 50 committed and caring individuals, a 22-member board of directors and hundreds of dedicated volunteers.

The Friends of Dorothy Guild is a support group founded in 2007 by Chairman Barbara Venezia and is dedicated to raising money to fund the much needed programs of AIDS Services Foundation Orange County.

Laura's House

Changing social beliefs, attitudes and the behaviors that perpetuate domestic violence while creating a safe space in which to empower individuals and families affected by abuse.
To reduce the incidence, recidivism and intergenerational cycle of domestic violence through education, counseling, support, case management and life skills training for victims of all ages.

Marconi Foundation for Kids

The Marconi Foundation for Kids was started by our founder Dick Marconi in 1994. Marconi's philosophy, passed down from his father is simple yet defining: Learn, Earn and Return. LEARN through a higher education, EARN through hard work and perservance, RETURN to others in need.
The Marconi Foundation for Kids is committed to giving a large percentage of the net proceeds, generated from Special Events and Individual and Group Tours to local children's charities. Through the many corporate and individual client partnerships, the Marconi Foundation for Kids will continue to strive toward the goal of raising $1,000,000 a year for at-risk youth.

Orange County Children's Bureau

Every day at Children’s Bureau we strive to create a world where all children grow up with endless possibilities and potential. We help strengthen families with young children and the communities in which they live by focusing our efforts on four interlocking goals: nurturing parenting, school readiness, good health and economic stability.
Children’s Bureau has expertise in areas such as school readiness, parenting, family resource centers, support groups, mental health counseling, foster care, adoption and more. Additionally, Children’s Bureau conducts research and advocates for improved public policies.

Speech and Language Development Center

Founded in 1955, Speech and Language Development Center (SLDC) is a non-profit school and therapy center located in Buena Park and serving Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. More than 220 staff members provide programs and services for 340 students, ages 6 months through 21 years. Most students have multiple handicapping conditions. All programs and services are available on campus.

Our mission is to save women's lives by increasing the early detection of breast cancer. The Foundation will do this by educating and empowering women to embrace the BeAware guidelines and inspire other women to do the same.
